Game Studio Superfan Week 1 and 2
Week 1+2 progress:
WEEK1- This week I created the entirety of the paper plans for my level. There are a total of 11 pages of maps that are needing to be translated into unreal engine. I have created a project for the level and have begun to do some work on the main character, but much is yet to be done.
WEEK2- This week has been dedicated to creating most of the blueprints that are going to be used within the main level. This includes the character blueprint, which is what is going to require the most work. I have managed to get the character to wall run, which is one of the main mechanics that is going to be used in the game. I have also given the character a sword with a basic animation that I have created. I have also used the UE4 marketplace to download an animation set for the enemies so that they can be differentiated from the main character. These enemies are not yet complete and need to be worked on.
