Childhood Memory Brief- Week 2

 What I Did This Week:

  1. I have created a main menu for my game that includes a play and exit button.
  2. The enemies for the game were blueprinted successfully, so now they move side to side with the beat of the music and fire projectiles that home in on the players location at a pace that can be outran by the player.
  3. I have created jump pads for one of the platforming segments that rotate to the music and propel the player forward and high into the air when landed on properly. One side is yellow and the other is white, and only the yellow side has the bouncing mechanic, meaning that when the jump pad rotates, it is easy for the player to miss the right side and fall into the death zone.
  4. A force push mechanic has been created for one of the puzzle segments in the game, where the player must push an object through a maze that moves according to the music playing.
  5. The ending cinematic for the game where a tower crashes down has been created successfully and plays when the player reaches the final box collision. After this has played, the main menu will show signalling the end of the vertical slice.
